As an an example, a taxi from Christchurch to London Gatwick Airport can take 2 hours and 20 minutes with good traffic so we would recommend you leave 4 hours 30 minutes before your flight is due to take off, if you’re destination is in Europe to give adequate time to travel and avoid feeling rushed.
